Solutions4Earth (S4E), Solutions4MyEarth (S4ME) is a student led non-profit founded by Avni Sharma in 2020, aimed to give students an in-depth understanding of environmental science through fun and engaging discussions, courses, hands-on engineering projects, and simulations. By introducing principles in chemistry and biology to explain environmental issues, S4E strives to give young minds the opportunity to examine our world from a fun, fresh, and scientifically advanced perspective. Programs tend to be summer long, to truly help foster young minds in the field of environmental science!

Avni Sharma is a current senior at Jesuit High School Portland. She has been incredibly interested in nature back to her days as a toddler, where she often observed her mother fostering native-species habitats in her family’s backyard. Today, Avni seeks to find ways to explain why natural disasters and issues within the realm of environmental science occurs through curiosity and analysis. Her work in independent science fair projects consist of original research at the Western Washington Huxley College of the Environment, Clean Water Services, and Oregon Health and Science University. Avni has received local, national, and international recognition in her efforts to better understand the natural world a bit better, starting with water.
